Rev. Moore praises Bahrain model

ManamaHis Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, received Rev. Johnnie Moore, at Riffa Palace yesterday. 

During the meeting HRH Crown Prince highlighted the principles of coexistence that underpin Bahraini society, noting His Majesty King Hamad’s commitment to ensuring the Kingdom continues to embrace all religions and faiths, which form an important element of Bahrain’s cultural diversity.   His Highness stressed that openness and mutual respect are among the most important elements of Bahrain’s national identity. In this regard, His Highness added that religious diversity and pluralism form the foundations of Bahrain’s security, stability and ongoing development under the leadership of HM the King.  

HRH Crown Prince welcomed Rev. Moore, outlining the importance of continuing to extend bridges of communication and cooperation in order to promote a culture of peace and to counter all manifestations of extremism.  Rev. Moore thanked His Royal Highness for the opportunity to meet him, praising Bahrain’s pioneering role in maintaining the principles of pluralism and mutual respect. 

Rev. Moore stressed that it was important for the global community to continue to support Bahrain’s efforts and model of coexistence.
