Premier issues Edict restructuring national committee
Manama : His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister issued Edict 5/2017 restructuring the National Industries Protection and Support Committee.
The Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Ministry's Undersecretary for Industrial Affairs has been appointed as Chairman and the Assistant Undersecretary for Industrial Development has been appointed as the Deputy Chairman of the National Industries Protection and Support Committee.
The Director of Customs Clearance and Follow-up in the Customs Affairs in the Ministry of Interior; the Director of Registration in the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism; and, the Head of GCC Relations in the Ministry of Finance have been appointed as members of the committee. The duration of their membership is for three years term which is renewable.
The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism is tasked to implement this Edict which will be published in the Official Gazette.
