11 Keralites among top richest Indians in GCC
Manama : Yusuff Ali MA, Managing Director, LuLu Group International, topped the Sixth Arabian Business Indian Rich List of 11 businessmen from the south Indian state of Kerala.
Other eminent Keralites on the Sixth Arabian Business Indian Rich List include Dr. Ravi Pillai, Chairman, RP Group, Adeeb Ahamed, Managing Director, LuLu Financial Group, Sunny Varkey, Founder and Chairman, Gems Education, PNC Menon, Chairman, Shobha Group, Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman, Aster DM Healthcare, Faisal Kottikolon, Chairman, KEF Holdings, Dr. Shamsheer VP, Managing Director, VPS Healthcare, Mohammed Koroth, Chairman, KM Trading, Joy Alukkas, Chairman, Joy Alukkas, K Muraleedharan, Managing Director, SFC Group.
One out of every five richest Indians on the list are Keralites and have a combined worth of more than $20 billion, reflecting the south Indian state’s growing influence in the regional economic scene.
The selection process for the annual list included estimating the value of assets of the persons on the list, shareholdings and projected company value if floated on the stock market.
The team also took into consideration the value of the investment holdings in equities, bonds, real estate and other assets.
