Registration open for Bahrain Tennis Academy Junior tournament
Manama : Registration has opened for the Bahrain Tennis Academy (BTA) junior tennis tournament from March 31 until April 8 at the Dilmun Sports Club in Saar. Events will be held in four categories - 8 and-under, 10/under, 12/under and 14/under.
The competition will feature matchplay in a round-robin format using the red, orange and full-size courts, along with the corresponding ball, in line with the International Tennis Federation’s guidelines.
It is open to all boys and girls who are of an eligible age at the start date. Certificates will be presented to all participants while the winners and finalists will be awarded trophies.
Tournament Director, Dan Barrie said, “The weather of late has been challenging for players that have been preparing for this event, with a lot of training being performed indoors. But our players are ready and we look forward to welcoming players from the around the island to the club.”
Registration is open at the Dilmun Club’s reception until March 26 and further information can be found bt emailing the director at dan@bahraintennisacademy.com or to obtain an entry form.
