Santhigiri to have insurance cover for Ayurveda care

Manama : The Santhigiri Ayurvedic Centre, Ayurvedic treatment wing of the Middle East Medical Centre, has become the first healthcare provider to be granted insurance cover for its Ayurveda treatments.
The Middle East Medical Centre and the Mednet Insurance have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) wherein the insurance company will provide insurance cover to patrons who avail Ayurveda treatments from Santhigiri.
The MoU was signed by Dr Varghese Kurian, chairman VKL Holdings & Al Namal Group, on behalf of the Middle East Medical Centre, and by Dr Waleed Bakry, Assistant Manager Network, of Mednet Insurance. The signing ceremony took place at the VKL Holdings & Al Namal Group head office on 12 March 2017.
 The Santhigiri Ayurvedic Centre is one of Bahrain’s largest medical centres providing world’s most ancient treatments that cleanse mind, body and soul.
The Santhigiri Ayurvedic Centre is located in the Hidd branch of the Middle East Medical Centre, and features latest and advanced herbal medicines while focusing on traditional Indian therapy and methodologies.
Santhigiri is equipped to take up Ayurvedic and Siddha treatments to help treat various diseases in rheumatism, arthritis, migraine, hypertension, Spondylosis and sports injuries.
It is also has facilities to undertake Panchakarma therapy, stress management therapy, ladies beauty therapies (for purifying body), rejuvenation massages, post-natal healthcare and eye care.
Treatments are conducted in aesthetical interiors, which also have modern amenities. The spa-rooms are arranged to have different sections for men and women.
