South Africa 229-4 at stumps against New Zealand
Duedin : South Africa were 229 for four at stumps after opting to bat first on day one of the first Test against New Zealand at University Oval in Dunedin on Wednesday.
Dean Elgar was not out 128 with Temba Bavuma on 38. Faf du Plessis made 52.
For New Zealand, Neil Wagner has two for 59.
