Man to be jailed in theft case
Manama : The High Criminal Appeals Court upheld the jail sentence issued against a man convicted of robbing valuables from his family.
According to court files, the defendant’s mother told officers that her son broke into their house and stole valuables, including her daughters hand watch, while she was away.
The mother also revealed that her son, aged 36, was on drugs at that time. The accused man was earlier handed down one and a half years behind bars.
