Tenders awarded for various projects

ManamaWorks Affairs Undersecretary Eng. Ahmed Abdul Aziz Al Khayyat has revealed that tenders invited and awarded during January 2017 included various roads, sanitary and construction projects, covering different areas in the Kingdom.

Al Khayyat explained that the awarded tenders in the roads sector covered the BD415,020 consulting services for Mondelez International for project infrastructure works and the BD1,847,300 Muharraq Ring Road Project (extending from Hidd Interchange to Amwaj Interchange). The total cost for works in roads sector amounted to BD2,262,320

As for the sanitary sector, Al Khayyat stated that the tenders awarded included the BD254,950 sewerage line transfer project for Block 346 in the Financial Harbour Area and the BD160,000 CCTV survey to sewerage networks (2016-2018). The cost for the work amounted to BD414,950

In the construction sector, tenders awarded in January included the BD12,055 civil, mechanical and electrical works for the Handcrafts Manager’s Office in Manama and the BD12,518 install and maintenance of the perfuming system for sterilizing bathrooms. The cost for the 6 tenders awarded in all three sectors amounted to BD2,701,843 The tenders for which bids were invited covered the roads, sanitary and construction sectors. In sanitary sector, the tenders for which bids were invited included the BD3,067,494 operation and maintenance of the bi-treatment system HIBEX at the Tubli Sewage Treatment Plant and the BD259,000 backup consulting services for the Sanitary Engineering Planning & Projects Directorate  (Phase 2). The total cost for the tenders for which bids were invited amounted to BD3,326,494

Bids were also invited for the BD17,000 repair works for storm water drainage system in Bahrain National Museum, the BD5,000 Time Contract (2017-2018-Re-tendering) for the civil, mechanical and electrical works, the BD119,750 operation, maintenance and repair works for the mechanical, electrical and plumbing and the civil maintenance of buildings at the Works Ministry premises in Manama and the BD641,300 maintenance at Gudaibiya Palace.
