Punjabi Divas in Indian School Bahrain
The Indian School Bahrain (ISB) celebrated the Punjabi Divas in the Isa town campus. Indian Embassy Second Secretary Anand Prakash who was the chief guest inaugurated the programme. The Guest of Honour Dr. Devendar Singh Sandhu in his address emphasized the richness of the Punjabi literature and its contribution to India. EC members Bhupinder Singh, Khursheed Alam, Principal V R Palaniswamy, Vice-Principals, Staff representative Priya Laji and staff attended. A variety of cultural programmes were conducted which showcased the vibrant nature of Punjab. Jagdeep Kaur , teacher in charge of the event, proposed the vote of thanks.
