Danube top Suha league
Manama : Danube defeated Global Metals by three runs in the Suha Corporate League organised by Cricket Bahrain Association (CBA) at the Hunainiya Valley in Riffa.
Batting first, they scored a lowly 113 and in reply Global Metals Bahrain finished short of the target after finishing on 110 for five.
In another match, National Guards crushed Indian XI by 129 runs after scoring a massive 264 for two in 20 overs thanks a brilliant unbeaten effort by Safdar Abbas (144 of 54 deliveries) and then restricted Indian XI to 135 for seven in its 20 overs.
DHL recorded an easy nine-wicket victory over Punjab XI as the latter finished on 142, then DHL reached the target in the 12th over losing one wicket as Imran Anwar (103 off 42) helped secure victory.

1.Collage 144/3 in 17 overs (Usman Anwar 51 off 32) bt Fog Printing 143/8 in 20 overs (Yousuf 41 off 34) by seven wickets.
2.Public Security Yellow 129/3 in 17 overs (Raza Abdul Waheed 55) bt RCB 128/9 in 20 overs (Satish Poojari 41 off 34, Usman Akbar 3 wkts) by seven wickets.
