First Triathlon League
Manama : Bahrain Triathlon Association (BTA) have announced the launching of the first Triathlon League in the Arab world.
The Triathlon League is anticipated to be launched this Friday and the system to compute the winner will be determined by the points scored in the nine rounds.
BTA calls on all national clubs and amateurs wishing to participate in the league initiative to register by sending information to the e-mail info@triathlon.bh and should include their name, date of birth and telephone number.
Shaikh Saqer bin Salman Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Triathlon Association said the First Triathlon League at the Arab world level, magnifies the Kingdom of Bahrain’s role on the Triathlon scene.
The league will be run to international standards with the BTA keen on holding training courses for local referees to oversee championships and a technical body that oversees the team and participation in most local and foreign events.
