Human rights situation revamp
Manama : There is meaningful improvement in Bahrain’s human right accomplishment according to Dr Abdulaziz Abdul, President of the National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR).
Dr Abdulaziz Abdul also said that the authority holds unannounced visits to prisons to ensure that no one in the country is denied of their rights.
Citing the establishment of the national institution for human rights based on the Paris Peace Conference principles by the Kingdom as a proof for the improved rights situation, he also pointed out that Bahrain is one among the three countries in the region that have set up such an agency.
