Bahrain Entrepreneurship Award announces quarter finals stage
Manama : The Organising Committee of the third edition of the Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship yesterday announced the commencement of the award’s Quarter Final stage. Shortlisted candidates from each category will now be referred to the semi final stage, which will begin on January 25. Quarter final stage was from 1 to 24 January 2017.
Commenting, Faisal Sultan, Project Manager of The Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship said the committee received a total or over 140 application. This according to Sultan marks a “20% increase from the previous edition” with the majority of the applications being submitted by Start-Ups.
The six awards categories include: Microenterprise of the Year, Start-up of the Year, SME of the Year, Sustainable Business Award, Enterprise of the Year with International Footprint and Female Entrepreneur of the Year.
