Citizens urged to take care of passports while travelling
Manama : As spring vacation is about to commence, citizens of the Kingdom were cautioned to take care of their passports while going abroad, by the Undersecretary of Interior Ministry of Nationality, Passport and Residence Affairs, (NPRA) Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
“Citizens should check the validity of the passport and the travel ticket before travelling. They should also make sure that the name in their travel ticket during booking matches that of their passport. Travellers should also keep soft and hard copies of their passports and other important documents,” the Undersecretary said.
Shaikh Rashid also urged people to benefit from the e-passport renewal services through government portal www.bahrain.bh .
Citizens can renew their passports at the NPRA headquarters in Manama, or its offices in Security Service Complex in Muharraq and Isa Town from Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm.
