New Indian School celebrates Annual Day

The New Indian School hosts its 26th Annual Day with great exuberance at the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam. The event was attended  by educational specialists Lulua Abdulrahman Al Jowder and Jasim Mohamed Alsulaiman. Director & Principal, Dr. V. Gopalan welcomed the gathering in which he emphasized on the role of the school in creating strong, responsible global citizens and productive members of the society. School Chairman  Dr. T.T. Thomas lauded the effort of the staff and the students in successfully putting up such an event and also congratulated the students for their academic achievement. The progressive Annual Report for the year 2015-2016 was read out by Vice Principal Geethalakshmy K. 

Meritorious students were felicitated for their excellent academic performance in the year 2015-2016. Teachers who completed their service in the school for more than 10 years were also honoured. Pearl House bagged the title of Best House of the year and the Runners Up trophy was secured by Ruby House. 

The function was an ensemble of colourful and enlightening programmes showcasing the talent of the school. About 550 students had participated in the Annual Event. The culmination of the celebration was marked by vote of thanks by the Head Teacher  Susy T. Paul to the guests and parents.
