Strathclyde named top UK University
Manama : Strathclyde Business School has been named the UK’s Business School of the Year by the Times Higher Education (THE) for its outstanding overall performance and its innovative and entrepreneurial outlook.
This was announced by yesterday by the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), the training arm of the Central Bank of Bahrain.
The Strathclyde MBA is offered in Bahrain through partnership with the BIBF, the next intake being in April 2017.
The prestigious award was presented at the Higher Education Awards in London.
It is the latest in a series of high-profile awards for Strathclyde, which was named the UK Entrepreneurial University of the Year in 2014, and UK University of the Year in 2013.
The BIBF’s Deputy Director, Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, stated, “By working together, we can continue to touch lives around the world, by accelerating the development of new technologies and medicines, informing the development of public policy, supporting the economy, producing graduates with higher education ready for business and the professions, and helping our industries compete on the global stage.”
