Indian School Bahrain hosts farewell for class XII
The Indian School Bahrain(ISB) bid farewell to its outgoing students of Class XII at a glittering ceremony organized in the Jashanmal auditorium in Isa Town campus.
The event attended by over 1200 pupils was fully held by the Student Organizing Committee under the supervision of the senior staff of the school.
The campus was abuzz with activity all throughout the day. “Carry the I-factor within you everywhere in this world- the I-factor is the ISB factor”, said School Chairman Prince S Natarajan in his felicitation address. ISB secretary Dr. Shemily P John called upon the outgoing students to leave their mark wherever they are and take ‘Brand ISB’ to greater heights. Vice Chairman Muhammed Iqbal described these moments as everlasting in the life of a student .
EC Member Discipline and Transport Bhupinder Singh administered an oath of excellence to all and asked them not to forget their roots.
Staff Representative Priya Laji thanked the teaching community on behalf of everyone for molding these beautiful children in life.
Earlier, Principal V. R Palaniswamy congratulated the students and asked them to be role models in future. ISB Riffa Campus Principal Sudhir Krishnan wished students all the very best for all their future endeavours. Head Teacher Reji Varughese wished the students a bright future.
Head Boy Vishakh Vinod Kumar thanked all the teachers for their relentless efforts and their magnanimity.
He echoed the sentiments of the majority that they will miss the school in the days to come. Head Girl Audrilla Ganguly thanked the school on behalf of the students.
A variety of cultural programmes and games were conducted by the Grade 11 students followed by lunch.
‘TheISB will be greatly missed by the students. The majority of us will be leaving the island for graduation and we will never miss an opportunity to come back to school,’ students said.
