British School of Bahrain organise Think Pink Charity Day
The British School of Bahrain (BSB) organised a Think Pink Charity Day to raise awareness for Breast Cancer and its research at their Hamala Campus. The event was supported by the Student Charity Committee and BSB staff and students. The Student Charity Committees organised various activities and sales bazaar.
Head of Seniors Khalil Ahmed commented: “I am so proud of our sixth form students led by Yannis, Hiba, Saad and Iraj; they have worked so hard with their teams to make this such a successful event. We have raised over BD 400 for this worthwhile and important cause.”
Students set up their own individual stalls selling cup cakes, cookies and fashion accessories to raise funds for this really important cause. The collected funds will be eventually presented to the Bahrain Cancer Society in a special assembly.
