New Horizon School organised Breast Cancer Awareness
In support of the Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness initiative, the New Horizon School teachers organised a special assembly for Grades 4, 5 and 6 on Thursday at the Jannusan campus . The whole school in pink and white spread the message of empathy for the suffering.
The aim was to create an awareness of the disease that has taken the lives of many women. A PowerPoint presentation highlighting the symptoms and treatment was conducted by Nada Anwar. They also emphasized the importance of early detection by way of regular check-ups.
Principal Nirmala Jose urged the students and staff to develop a growing concern for the patients and instill hope assuring they are not alone. The management appreciated the work and initiative of the NHS Club that has rendered their solidarity with the international awareness campaign group.
