54 in the dock for promoting obscene acts
Manama : Fifty-four men were put on trial for organising a homosexual party at a swimming pool in Sanad.
The police received a tip-off stating that some homosexual men were planning a party.
Following this, the police obtained permission from the Public Prosecution to raid the pool. The police arrested 54 men, of whom some were wearing women’s clothes and make-up. They have been charged with promoting obscene acts.
