Bahrain condemns North Korea's nuclear test
Manama : Bahrain has strongly condemned the new nuclear test carried out by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the test "a dangerous move that reflects a determination to defy Security Council resolutions and a great threat on international security and peace."
"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the need to strengthen efforts to prevent the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction around the world, address such violations that threaten the entire international community, and to ensure full compliance by all parties to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty as well as the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency on all nuclear programmess and activities, in order to prevent any excesses or violations that endanger the security and stability of the world," the statement added.
