LuLu opens new hypermarket in Al Ain

Al Ain : LuLu Group, the Abu Dhabi-based retail major, has expanded its presence in the eastern region of the UAE by opening its latest hypermarket in the garden city of Al Ain. 

The group’s 128th hypermarket was inaugurated by Hili Mall Chairman Sultan bin Rashid Al Dhaheri in the presence of Hili Mall CEO Saeed Sultan Al Dhaheri, Ghanim Mubarak Al Hajri, Col. Ali Alshamsi and other dignitaries. 

LuLu Group Chairman Yusuffali MA, CEO Saifee Rupawala, Executive Director Ashraf Ali MA, Director Salim MA and other top officials were also present on the occasion. 

Located in Al Ain’s Hili Mall, the 70,000 sq. ft. hypermarket will feature complete retail offerings including full groceries line, home appliances, electronics, IT products, stationery, sports and services ancillary to the business of hypermarket. Moreover, this expansive retail facility’s key component will primarily be on fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, and seafood, all offered under one roof. 

Speaking on the occasion, Yusuff Ali MA said, “It has been our policy to bring world class shopping experience closer to the people in the outskirts rather than making them drive long distance to bigger cities.”  

Meanwhile, Saeed Sultan Al Dhaheri said, “LuLu Group is a leading entity within the global retail industry and it will be an important component of Hili Mall.
