Court denied appeal in embezzlement case
Manama : A court has rejected the appeal of a man convicted of embezzlement.
The Indian expat had been working as a watchman at a residential building in the Kingdom. He has been charged with pocketing BD720, which he collected from the building’s tenants.
He was eventually sentenced to two months behind the bars, which the appeals court upheld.
The man will be deported once he completes his jail term.
