Youngsters win Monday Night Lights tournament
Manama : The pair of Yaseen Le Falher and Saud Al Sharif narrowly (22 points on countback) won the latest Monday Night Lights competition at the Royal Golf Club.
Husband and wife, Steven and Samantha Hill (22)won the second place, while the third position was grabbed by Mike Brightmore and Jamie Bowen (21 on countback) in a three-way tie.
Nearly 40 golfers took part in the Betterball Stableford tournament which was played under floodlights on the back 9 holes of the Club’s Montgomerie championship course.
The evening was rounded off with a prize presentation ceremony in the Club’s Members’ Lounge.
The Monday Night Lights 9 hole competitions are open to club andnon-members at a cost of BD 18 night green fee plus a BD 2 entry fee.
