Bahrain’s success continues : Premier

ManamaThe Kingdom is moving from one success to another, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, said Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al  Khalifa.

The global praise and positive reactions, to Bahrain’s leadership are the fruitful results of the effective contributions of Bahrainis, Prince Khalifa said. 

The Premier was speaking while receiving senior Royal Family members, intellectuals, media personnel, businessmen, state officials and citizens, led by the President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalid Al Khalifa at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday.

“Since I took office, my ultimate goal has been to implement the directives of the King to serve our people. I am pleased with the responsibility entrusted to me,” the PM said.

The Premier also thanked those defending the nation and supporting its security and integrity. They have proven that Bahrain is the strongest to those who seek to harm the Kingdom, believing that we are weak, he said.

The Prime Minister hailed the “positive and constructive” role played by the national constitutional establishments, while lauding the Council of Representatives for its full and constructive cooperation with the government. 

The PM also commended the role of the National Institution for Human Rights in refuting allegations and countering attempts to undermine the human rights achievements in the Kingdom.

The Prime Minister praised the role played by the media, a mirror that reflects the concerns of the people. He also paid tribute to columnists, stressing that many things that interest the nation and the citizens have been uncovered through them.

The PM added that the achievements of the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) were better than those of others because they dedicated all their potentials and resources in serving their citizens and improving the quality of the services provided.

The Premier called on Arab countries to mend rifts, overcome their differences and place top national interests above all other issues, warning that differences within would weaken the region.
