PM directs poet’s medical treatment abroad
Manama : Bahraini poet Ali Al-Sharqawi will be sent abroad to continue his treatment, as directed by Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Premier directed the Ministry of Health to act promptly and take necessary measures in response to a plea submitted by the poet who requested to be treated abroad.
The Prime Minister, who had been following up the condition of Al-Sharqawi ever since he fell ill, issued the directives along with other decisions to ensure patient’s healthcare.
Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh said said she had instructed the ministry officials instantly to implement HRH Premier’s directives to follow up Al-Sharqawi’s health condition and ensure his treatment abroad.
