HM King Hamad receives Arab ambassadors to Turkey
Manama : The ambassadors of Arab countries to Turkey was received by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at his residence in the Turkish capital Ankara, on the occasion of his official visit to the country, yesterday.
The diplomats conveyed the greetings of the leaders of their countries as well as their best wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain and its people under the wise leadership of HM the King.
King Hamad also reviewed with them strong historic fraternal ties binding Bahrain with Arab countries and their progress in various fields.
HM the King underlined Bahrain’s keenness to boost relations with the Arab countries to achieve aspirations under the umbrella of the Arab League. He lauded the key role played by the Arab ambassadors and their efforts in bolstering cooperation and pan-Arab work to serve Arab issues.
Later in the day, King Hamad arrived in Istanbul to attend the inauguration of the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge linking Europe and Asia, in response to an invitation by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
