Indian from Bahrain caught smuggling gold
Manama : Customs authorities have arrested an Indian man who came from Bahrain for trying to smuggle 6.4 kg of gold.
The suspect, whose name has been revealed only as Thasleem, hails from Kozhikode in the south Indian state of Kerala and was caught at the Calicut International Airport.
The gold was found hidden in the UPS of a computer. The arrest was made following a tip-off received by airport officials. Thasleem is being interrogated for more details.
