Netizens lash out at sleazy online video
Manama : A controversial video featuring a man biting the buttocks of a woman passenger drew flak from all quarters yesterday. As the video went viral online, netizens here gave vent to their ire at it and urged the authorities to take immediate action against what they called ‘an obscene act’.
The nine-second footage, which was apparently recorded using a cellphone, showed a woman dancing to the tunes of an Arab song while the car driven by another woman was moving slowly.
Then a man appears and bites her buttocks after chasing the car. The video ends with the scream of the woman.
The incident occurred in Juffair and a hash tag, namely #juffair_video was created on Twitter in response to the footage. A user, named Shaima, expressed her shock at the video in a tweet, stating that she couldn’t believe that the incident took place in Bahrain.
