Report violation, get 25% of fine as reward

Riyadh : Those who report Saudization violations, especially in the IT sector, will be rewarded with the amount equal to the 25 percent of the fine, labor and social development minister Mufrej Al-Haqabani  has announced it.

The ministry will carry out "community inspections" that allow every individual to report Saudization violations in the IT and other sectors as soon as the goal of hundred percent Saudization of the IT sector starts at the beginning of September.

"According to regulations, the minister can allocate rewards that amount to 25 percent of the value of the violation fee," said the minister.

Al-Haqabani said young Saudis have proved their ability in the IT sector. “They are a source of pride and their participation in the IT market is fantastic and professional. I thank all our sons and daughters who proved they were capable to grasp the opportunities they were given," he said.

Al-Haqabani stressed that Vision 2030 aims for the improvement of the work environment, reduce unemployment and increase the participation of women in the labor market.

Regarding the issue of shops closing at 9 p.m. to boost women’s employment, Al-Haqabani said women can work in all places under two main conditions: Safety and appropriate work.

"If these rules are taken into account, then a working woman would be essential to the modern development of the Kingdom. It stands to lose if women do not effectively participate in the labor market,” said the minister.
