VAT seminar today
Manama : The impact of the soon to be implemented Value Added Tax (VAT) regime on the business community will be discussed today by Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI). The event will be held at Four Seasons Hotel-Bahrain Bay at 9:30am.
The GCC nations are expected to implement VAT in 2018.
The seminar organised by the Industrial Sector Committee of the BCCI headed by second vice-chairman Abdulhameed Alkooheji is held in cooperation with PricewaterhouseCoopers Bahrain (PwC).
BCCI has requested all business community members to attend the seminar. Topics to be discussed include the main characteristics of VAT, VAT compliance and documentation requirements, implementation considerations, and possible VAT treatments of certain industries.
