Minister to patronise Future Scientists National Contest2016

Manama : Under the patronage of Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi, Globe Centre has launched the 12th edition of Future Scientists National Contest2016.

The Education Ministry's Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education, Latifa Al Bunudha, opened the contest's associated exhibition held at the Sharifa Al Awadhi Kids and Juniors Club.

Al Bunudha praised the efforts being exerted by students and supervisor teachers in the projects, lauding the efforts of Science and Environment Centre in opening up the mindset of students through academic research which consolidates the capacity of students to join physics, science and mathematics disciplines. She urged teachers and parents of students to encourage schoolchildren to learn through innovative, mind-stimulating scientific research projects.

Students of public and private schools in the various stages of schooling have submitted to the arbitration panel 86 innovative projects in science and technology, environment and engineering. 
The arbitrators hail from the University of Bahrain (UoB), Arabian Gulf University (AGU), Interior Ministry (MoI) and the Supreme Council of Environment (SCE).
