Education minister inspects new school project
Manama: Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi has inspected the new Hamad Town Primary Boys School construction project being implemented under the supervision of the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry.
The minister toured and thoroughly scrutinised the school's various buildings, and was briefed about the construction workflow nearing its final stages and scheduled for delivery during upcoming school year 2016-2017.
The project comes as part of the Government Action Plan that includes the ten new schools all over the kingdom areas to increase student intake capacity in all the stages of schooling, said the minister.
Dr. Al Nuaimi added this school and the rest of schools have been built according to the modern smart-school concept adopted by the ministry to facilitate implementation of academic performance enhancement plans, flexible online networking classrooms and utilising the halls for teaching/learning as well as for teachers' hands-on professional training sessions.
