Winners of showjumping tournament honoured
Manama: Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) honoured the winners of the Showjumping tournament at the Bahrain Defence Force Equestrian Centre in Sakhir.
Ali Isa (62.22 seconds) riding Alikaro won a flawless two-course round in the Grand Prix class which consisted of hurdles height of 120-130 cm and a course speed of 350m/m.
Coming in second place was Hussain Dadallah (54.81, four faults) and third place to Sami Ghazwan (54.98, eight faults).
Two classes were held in the juniors category consisting of hurdles height of 85-95cm and 95-105cm with the same course speed of 300m/m.
The first class was dominated by Amy Keane (31.52) riding DJ, with Mustafa Dadallah (43.18, 44 points) winning the second class competition.
In the two other adult classes, Ali (31.43, 44 points) won the first over hurdles of 95-105cm and a course speed of 350m/m.
The second adult class over 110-115cm and a course speed of 350m/m over two phases was won by Basel Al Dossary (24.21) riding Sheka.
