NPRA undersecretary inaugurates "Views" art exhibition

Manama : In the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister Jawad bin Salem Al-Arrayad, Ministry of Interior (MoI)'s Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) and Bahrain Art Society (BAS)'s Honorary President, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Society on Thursday inaugurated "Views Art Exhibition" with contributions from more than 70 artists from Bahrain and worldwide.
National arts exhibitions aim to support and encourage Bahraini gifted artists to showcase their masterpieces alongside with artists from Arab and European countries.

Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa hailed the royal patronage of budding Bahraini artists aimed to make Bahrain a regional and international hub for fine and aesthetic arts. He added that it is the national duty of all Bahraini officials each according to their domain to encourage Bahrain's talented artists and creative youthful energies and to provide them with opportunity and support to contribute in the advancement of their nation.

The Society's chairman, Khalil Al Mahmeed, said the exhibition has been launched with the initiative of the society's honorary president Shaikh Rashid the proponent of the exhibition. The society invited artists from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Arab and European countries who answered the invitations besides the contribution of Al Bareh gallery and Al Riwaq art space in the Kingdom. 

Al Mahmeed said the exhibition showcases many works of arts by Bahraini artists' and gives an impression of latest local artists creativity blended with international artists.
