GCC truck insurance policy proposed
The Transports and Logistics sector committee of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) headed by board member Abdulhakeem Al Shemeri has raised the committee’s proposal to issue a unified insurance policy for the trucks covering all GCC countries.
Al Shemeri stressed the importance of the proposal and its prospect in streamlining businesses in the transport and logistics sector, reinforcing the sector’s robustness, enhancing its contribution to the national economy, and augmenting trade and business activities amidst the GCC countries.
Al Shemeri also pledged to raise the proposal to relevant bodies including the Central Bank of Bahrain and Insurance companies and probe its implementation.
