King praises bravery of BDF soldiers

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday honoured BDF officers and servicemen bestowing them with medals in appreciation of their successful efforts in assuming patriotic duties and safeguarding the safety and security of the Kingdom. 

Voicing deep pride in the BDF personnel’s heroism, high morale and success in carrying out all the tasks assigned to them, HM King Hamad praised BDF’s continuous participation in the “Operation Decisive Storm” and the “Operation Restoring Hope” within the Saudi-led Arab Coalition to support the right and legitimacy of Yemen, and safeguard Arab countries.

HM the King said this while addressing at the Sakhir Air Base yesterday a number of BDF officers and servicemen who have returned to Kingdom after assuming their sacred national duty in Yemen within the Arab Coalition.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Royal Guard Commander Brigadier-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa were present on the occasion.
