Asian convicted of rape gets two years in jail
The Court of Appeal in Dubai, sentenced an Asian to two years in prison and will be immediately deported on serving the jail term.
It reportedly overturned the verdict of the first instance court that handed him a ten-year year jail term and immediate deportation to the defendant after convicting him of raping two children in Al-Ardh City.
The police nabbed him at his house and brought him to the Public Prosecution after a woman filed a lawsuit against him, claiming that he raped her kids.
The defendant reportedly denied the charges, saying that he went to the woman's house to claim the unpaid bill of the gas cylinders he delivered to her house.
