Industry Minister inspects Galleria

Industry Minister Zayed bin Rashid Al Zayani yesterday pledged government’s full support to Bahrain’s private sector initiatives, while praising the sector for its vibrant projects that contributed in boosting the national economy. 

The minister was speaking as he visited Galleria Shopping outlets, a US$40 million project, in Zinj, where he was welcomed by businessman Mohammed Dadabhai, in the presence of a number of ministry officials, businessmen and businesswomen.

Confirming government’s support in establishing such projects that enhance Kingdom’s economic development, the minister said, “Such projects also reflect the partnership between Bahrain’s public and private sector establishments.”

“These projects provide consumers more choices and create job opportunities for citizens. I hope this project will act as a model for many investors to establish landmark projects in favour of national economy,” the minister added. 

Commenting on the project, Businessman Mohammed Dadabhai said: “This project covers 30 thousand square metres of area and is scheduled to open within the next few months and is also one of the series of projects launched by Dadabhai Group.”

“We hope this project would contribute in revitalising trade movement in Bahrain, especially in light of the positive investment environment provided. We appreciate the efforts made by the government to provide facilities for investors.”
