Engineers win Bapco interdepartmental Golf
The Engineering Department team of Peter Hughes, Mark Farrell, Les Young, and Yoy Young (125 points) won the 60th edition of the Bapco Inter-Departmental played at Awali Golf Club (AGC).
This event was first played in the 1956/1957 season and is an 18 hole Stableford team event and was originally for Bapco employees only, but now open to all Golf Club members.
A total of 44 players participated with Yoy Young of the winning team, posting the best individual score of 45 points and received a big handicap cut for her efforts!
The Interdepartmental Cup was presented to the winning team by Abdul Elah Fakhroo of Bapco and Bill Scarth the club captain.
