Indian embassy to celebrate Republic Day
As part of the celebration of India’s 66th Republic Day, a flag hoisting ceremony will be held at 7.30 am on Tuesday, on the Embassy premises in Adliya (Building No. 182, Road 2608, Block 326, Adliya, Bahrain).
The ceremony will include reading of the message of the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, which will be followed by rendering of patriotic songs by students.
The embassy has invited all Indian nationals, including their families in Bahrain to participate in the ceremony.
The participants were requested to assemble by 7.15 am, an embassy press release stated.
Holiday
The Embassy of India stated yesterday that it will remain closed on Tuesday on account of the country’s 66th Republic Day.
