New Horizon celebrates Bahrain National Day
Manama : The Bahrain National Day was celebrated at New Horizon School, Janussan campus with great splendour.
The Arabic department organised an array of events to commemorate the day. The celebrations kicked off with the variety entertainments highlighting the tradition and culture of the Kingdom.
The programme consisted of Arabic recitation, songs, Arabic dances, stage show and a speech by Zahra Khalil.
The staff and students were attired in red and white in honour of the national Flag. The whole campus was decorated in the same colours enhancing the festive mood.
A traditional exhibition organised by the Arabic department was the special feature of the day.
Activities like henna designing, pony ride, face painting and different games provided great entertainment to the students and resembled a mini carnival.
