AMA celebrates Sports Day
AMA International University – Bahrain (AMAIUB) joined the Kingdom of Bahrain to celebrate Bahrain National Sports Day on its third year of occurrence as a national event on February 12, 2019.
During the opening program, the university officials, namely: Dr. Marie Redina M. Victoria, University President; Buena Gracia A. Canzana, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Dr. Geraldo C. Talisic, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Dr. Amin El-Meligi, Dean of Students Affairs, emphasized that such celebration adheres to the Kingdom’s principle of community sport and expanding public health awareness, thus asserting the proverb, “A sound mind in sound body.”
Among the sports activities organized by the Office of the Students Affairs together with the Student Council were football, basketball, table tennis and fitness exercise, which were actively participated in by the students, faculty members and administrative staff.
