His Majesty receives US Vice-Chief of Naval Operations

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, yesterday received, at Al Sakhir Palace, Admiral William Francis Moran, US Vice Chief of Naval Operations. HM, the King hailed solid historic relations and strong partnership binding Bahrain and the US, lauding decades-old ties which are based on trust, respect and joint co-operation for the sake of mutual goals and interests. HM the King lauded the steadily-growing relations and hailed defence and military ties, stressing joint keenness on further developing ties.

He expressed condolences on the death of Vice Admiral Scott Stearney, Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command and Commander of US Fifth Fleet. He paid tribute to late Vice Admiral Scott Stearney for his dedicated contribution to strengthening joint cooperation, extending appreciation and condolences to all US Fifth Fleet personnel.
