New Cabinet formed

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday issued Royal Decree (61), forming the Cabinet. The decree stipulates the appointment of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa as Prime Minister along with other members nominated by HRH the Premier to the Cabinet.

Article 2 stipulates the appointment of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Jawad Al Arrayed, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa as Deputy Premier. The newly-appointed minister under Article 3 are Mohammed Al Mutawa (Cabinet Minister), Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa (Interior Minister), Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa (Foreign Minister), Dr Majid Al Nuaimi (Education Minister), Dr Abdulhussein Mirza (Minister of Electricity and Water), Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa (Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments), Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa (Minister of Oil), Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa (Minister of Finance and National Economy), Essam Khalaf (Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning), Jameel Humaidan (Minister of Labour and Social Development), Kamal Ahmed (Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications), Bassem Al Hamer (Minister of Housing), Ghanim Al Buainain (Parliament Minister), Faeqa Al Saleh (Health Minister), Zayed Al Zayani (Minister of Industry and Commerce), Ali Al Romaihi (Minister of Information Affairs), Major-General Abdulla Al Nuaimi (Defence Affairs Minister) and Aymen Tawfiq Almoayyed (Youth and Sports Affairs Minister).

According to Article 4, the Prime Minister shall execute this decree, which shall take effect from the date of its issuance, and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
