Painting poems on canvas
Confluence, an exhibition of prose, poetry and art that covers traditional paintings, abstract interpretations, photographs, and illustrations was launched yesterday at the Bahrain Financial Harbour.
The exhibition will run until September 20. The event, which has 36 art works on display, was inaugurated by Akram Miknas, President of Promoseven Holdings.
Speaking to Tribune, Mr Miknas said, “I am pleased to be associated with this expression of culture and look forward to seeing many more such initiatives from the Bahrain Writers’ Circle.”
Angus Campbell, CEO of Financial Centre Development Company, said that it was part of the vision of Harbour Gate to include art exhibitions and to encourage visitors to discover the wonderful artistic space in the heart of the downtown.
