Three Asians accused of selling heroin face trial
Three Asian men, aged between 20 and 30 years, are set to stand trial before the High Criminal Court allegedly for peddling drugs. The defendants are said to have been selling heroin and other drugs illegally in the Kingdom.
An amount of BD40 proved enough to trap the first defendant in a secret operation after the anti-drug departments at the Ministry of Interior received a tip-off about his activities. According to court files, a police officer in plain clothes contacted the first defendant and offered him BD40 to buy drugs from him and he directly accepted.
The first defendant was arrested as soon as he received the money and handed over the drugs. The second defendant happened to be in the house of the first defendant when they raided it.
