270kg of shrimp seized with boat
Manama : The Coast Guard Commander said on Wednesday that his vessels had seized a boat with 270kg of shrimp onboard for violating the shrimping ban.
He said that legal steps were being taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecutor. He said that on noticing the violation, the vessels were deployed but while the boat and the catch were seized the sailors escaped towards the shore.
