Snapchat map helps cops arrest vice gang
A prostitution racket which was operating from a public swimming pool facility was busted after police officers conducted a raid. Police began investigations after a video showing semi-naked women dancing near a pool went viral on the messaging app, Snapchat.
The video also showed men smoking sheesha as well as drinking alcohol, which is against the rules that govern the management of swimming pools in the Kingdom.
Police officers used a special feature of Snapchat - it’s maps - which took them to the prostitution den. Many members of the racket were arrested and they were charged with promoting prostitution and carrying out activities against the principles of public morality.
