Protection of the environment is ‘a prime necessity’

HRH the Premier has emphasised the need to protect the environment for the benefit of the future generations of the Kingdom.

This came as His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa yesterday received members of the royal family and senior officials and exchanged with them Eid Al Fitr good wishes.

HRH the Premier also underscored the importance of taking care of natural resources and wildlife, ensuring their development and sustainability and preserving their diversity as a pillar for sustainable development.

He pointed out the kingdom’s unflinching efforts to preserve the environment and natural resources in tandem with its urbanisation projects, calling to give more importance to developing agricultural products and boosting food safety.

He urged to take care of all fundamentals reflecting the community’s history and civilisation and ensure their sustainability.

He paid tribute to the Bahraini people for their substantial contribution to Bahrain’s growth, calling to document those roles which have always enlightened the national history.

HRH the Prime Minister underlined the government’s keenness on preserving the kingdom’s heritage for future generations to learn about their history and inherent civilisation in a fast-paced world.
